Hi! I’m Charmaine, your breathwork coach

I’m so glad you’re here and interested in the power of conscious breathing to transform your life and unlock your power from the inside out.

I believe that we’re all meant to live from a place of MORE ease, flow, joy and wholeness…we crave it but don’t always know how to access this space within. 

For years, I lived in a state of chronic stress, easily overwhelmed and cycling through burnouts without the tools to effectively release or manage my stress. After being introduced to conscious breathing (aka. Breathwork), I found the doorway to this space within. 

I couldn’t believe how IMMEDIATE the relief was, and just how SIMPLE it all was. I had to experience more of this medicine. I became a certified Professional Breathwork Practitioner and studied all I could about breath, embodiment, trauma, stress and the nervous system.  

The more I learned, the more I felt the need to share this with as many people as possible. And that’s how Anchored in Calm was born.

I teach you how to use a blend of calming, balancing and energizing breath patterns designed to speak to different parts of your nervous system (parasympathetic + sympathetic) restoring balance and wellbeing to your mind/body/spirit.

I believe EVERYONE has a right to the practical tools and knowledge to bring about real change in how they FEEL and EXPERIENCE their world day to day!

  • Each session will have 3 components: exploration of a theme, guided breathwork + group sharing.

    1- We’ll explore a different theme relevant to optimizing your breathing and building nervous system resilience

    2- You’ll be led through one or more guided breathing practices

    3- And we’ll have time for your questions and sharing experiences as you build a new and empowering relationship with your breath and life itself!

    You’ll also be given a new breath technique to practice and integrate into your daily life for the two weeks between each of our sessions.

    Themes explored together include:

    • Our Journey Home: reclaiming wholeness, presence & the SELF

    • Pillars of Optimal Breathing

    • Creating Safety Within: the roots of stress

    • The Stress Cycle & Balancing the Nervous System

    • Breathing for Spiritual Transformation: conscious connected breathing

  • The time commitment for participating in this 3-month experience is relatively low.

    -4 private coaching sessions every 2-3 weeks (60 mins)

    -1 hour every two weeks to go through an online module that supports the journey.

    -Building up to a 10-min daily practice of conscious breathing over time (it’s way easier than you think😊)

    We spread out the experience over 3 months to give you time to:

    -go through the course modules at your own pace

    -esaefully integrate Breathwork as a new habit so you continue long after the 3-months together is done.

  • We pick a time to begin when you feel ready, in coordination with my availability.

  • Like most things in life, putting into practice what we’re learning is key!
